Directions from San Francisco (and anywhere near a Bart line) by Bart and bus

take the Bart to Rockridge station.
(from some locations this will require a transfer)
take a 7, 17, 51, 51M or 64 bus North on College Ave. (about 6 blocks)
get off at Claremont Ave.
cross to the West side of College Ave.
walk West on 62nd St. for 1 block
turn left on Hillegass St. and walk South 1 block
turn right on 61st St. and walk West 1.25 blocks to destination
(if you reach Canning St. or Telegraph Ave., you've gone too far.)

(1) from SF, take the Pittsburg/Bay Point Bart.
(2) Call when you get to Rockridge and likely someone will come and pick you up,
assuming anyone has arrived who has a car.

Directions from Walnut Creek (Orinda, Pittsburg, etc.) by car

get on 24 headed toward Oakland.
get off at the Telegraph Ave. exit
turn right on Telegraph Ave. and drive about 6 blocks to 61st.
(if you reach 62nd St., 63rd St. or Alcatraz Ave, you've gone too far.)
turn right on 61st St. and drive 1+ blocks to destination.
(if you reach Colby St. or Hillegass Ave., you've gone too far.)

Directions from most other locations (including SF, Richmond, Fremont) by car

somehow get on 24 headed toward Walnut Creek.
get off at the Claremont Ave. exit.
turn left on Claremont Ave. and drive about 6 blocks
turn left on Colby St. and drive about 3 blocks to 61st St.
(if you reach 62nd St., 63rd St. or Alcatraz Ave, you've gone too far.)
turn left on 61st St. and drive West about 1/4 block to destination.
(if you reach Canning St. or Telegraph Ave., you've gone too far.)

to get to 24:
from Richmond take 580 East (i.e. toward Oakland)
from SF take 80 and 580 East (i.e. toward downtown Oakland, Hayward)
from Hayward take 580 West (i.e. toward Oakland)
