Briefing for Meeting (handed out at meeting)

Earth is no longer in danger of destruction. For more information about this and other results of our last meeting, see The Zzaarians - First Encounter.

The Zzarians have offered to deliver a message we agree on to whoever they encounter for the next year. The basic message may consist of a maximum of 5 words. In addition a definition and/or verbal picture may be provided for each word. The Zzarians require that those present explicitly agree to whatever message is to be sent.

As at our last meeting, an Earth inhabitant wearing a Zza's sweat shirt will act as a channel for the Zzarians and also for answering simple questions regarding this matter. The channel will be open from 7:30pm to 9:15pm, September 22, 1999.

the Message to the Galaxies

At the meeting a message was agreed upon consisting of 5 words in no particular order and rough definitions of each word. The words and their definitions are:

Nature
includes trees, herbs, cats, fish, sky, ....
Art
includes music, poetry, painting, sculpture, literature, anything created, collages, ....
Family
a group of people connected/bonded who help each other - pooling resources, ...
Communication
expression; exchange of feelings, desires, ....
Hello
a positive, enthusiastic, friendly greeting. implies openness. indicates that one is happy to be in communication.

the Zzarians Agreement with Us

The Zaarians have agreed to deliver this message to those they encounter over the next year, except they will not deliver the message to groups that they believe might do us harm. However, they do not guarantee anything about the responses of those receiving the message. Nor do they promise to protect us from negative responses if they should occur.

The Zaarians agreed (at the group's request) not to include a return address with the message. They do not, however, guarantee that those receiving the message will be unable to find us.
