Be flexible.
There's more than one way to do things in perl.
Don't force a particular style of programming on programmers.
Make perl available.
It's free and can be downloaded from the net.
There's lots of utilities available on the net.
Leave room for irreverence, humor, fun.
Allow programming to be artistic.
