The Blue Tiger the blue tiger |
Once upon a time there was a blue tiger that no one could see. He walked quietly through the streets at night and no one was scared. Well, it's not easy to be a tiger if people can see you because they will run away. Then you can't have anyone to be with and play with. You don't have anyone to talk with and do things with. So that's why the blue tiger became invisible. But if you are invisible, guess what? Well, people don't know you are there. So they don't know what a soft cuddly striped tiger you are. Guy, that's no fun. And they don't know what a lovely shade of blue you are. And if you are a blue tiger that makes you sad. One day the blue tiger was lying in the sun. He was so sad that his beautiful coat got bluer and bluer and brighter and brighter. Guess what? When the blue tiger got to be the brightest blue there is, VA VOOM! KA BLAM! There was a terrible loud noise and then quiet. Everyone came running and they said "Why that's the handsomest tiger in the whole wide world! Here, kitty, kitty!" And they patted the tiger and hugged him. And always after that he was a proud and happy tiger. Some days he would lie in the cool green grass and he would remember how he got so sad that he couldn't get any sadder. He got so sad that he wasn't sad anymore. He was just ridiculous. Then he was happy!! And then VA VOOM! KA BLAM! and everyone could see him again just like he really was. And when they knew who he was they played with him and rode on his back and tickled him under the chin. THE END |
