Likely when you enter the Grand Lake Theatre, you'll have your mind on getting your tickets and seeing the movie you came for. You purchase your tickets; and before entering the lobby, you hand them to a staff member who tears them in two, returns half of each ticket to you and places the other half in a wooden container made just for the used ticket stubs. This wooden container and the doors you are about to walk through are themselves works of art, but, eager as we are to get inside and take our seats, most of us barely notice.

You probably don't consciously look around much, but if you did, you'd discover a dome and windows above and much else to captivate you.
